Kolokolnikovs’ Estate Museum

Grigory Rasputin’s House Museum in Pokrovskoye

The home of one of Russia’s most infamous figures. The museum is located in the old village of Pokrovskoye along the road from Tyumen to Tobolsk. Here, you’ll uncover the mysteries and myths surrounding Rasputin’s life, see miraculous artifacts connected to the "Mad Monk," and learn about the real assassination attempts that shaped his legend.

Tobolsk Kremlin

Once the residence of Siberia’s 18th-century governor. Now transformed into the Museum of Siberian Governance. Prison Castle Museum

A grim fortress serving as a penal transit prison for nearly three centuries. Come and discover how the great Russian writer Fyodor Dostoevsky ended up here, and what life was like for prisoners during both tsarist and Soviet times. Feeling adventurous? Then descend into the dungeon where, according to legend, prisoners were once walled up alive.
