Winter in Russia is diverse. In the northern part of the country, there are heavy snowfalls, while in southern Russia, there may be only a few snowy days per season. When heading into the Russian winter, don’t forget to pack warm shoes, a down jacket, and a festive mood. Christmas and New Year are widely celebrated in Russia.
