Alexander Triumphal Arch

A ceremonial structure built in the Russian style with elements of pre-Petrine Moscow architecture from the late 17th century. It was constructed in 1888 to commemorate the visit of Emperor Alexander III and the imperial family to Yekaterinodar — the former name of the city.
