Former residence of the Russian ruler Andrey Bogolyubsky. A settlement 30 km from Suzdal — once one of the largest towns in Northeastern Rus and the former residence of Prince Andrey Bogolyubsky. Here, fragments of the princely castle have been preserved: for example, a tower with a spiral staircase.
