About
This is an architectural monument built in the mid-6th century. According to ancient Arab sources, the fortress wall once stretched from the Caspian Sea to the most inaccessible mountain peaks, marking the border between Persia and the Khazar Khaganate. Today, remains of the forts and the Great Caucasus Wall can still be seen.
