Income House of I.I. Nikitin

About

An elegant neo-Renaissance building. At the beginning of the 20th century, it was built at the request of railway engineer Nikitin — his initials “I.N.” can be seen on the pediment, a signature detail left by architect Alexey Kuznetsov. Before the revolution, the Grand Hotel occupied the second and third floors of the right wing, as well as the Russian-Chinese Bank branch, a Swiss watch shop, and the cabaret “Arcadia.” Today, the ground floors are occupied by shops and cafés.
