Museum of Wooden Architecture

About

A Unique Open-Air Museum. This open-air museum gathers monuments of wooden architecture from the 18th and 19th centuries across the Vladimir region. Old log houses, churches, chapels, and farm buildings are displayed, each a masterpiece of carpentry: houses are adorned with intricate carvings, and their interiors are filled with peasant household items. Of particular note is the oldest building in the complex — the Church of the Resurrection from the village of Patakino, dating from the late 18th century.
