Museum "Tula Samovars"

About

Another ancient Tula craft — samovar production.
In a 19th-century mansion, the history of samovar creation from 1778 to the present day is showcased. The three museum halls tell how the Lisitsyn brothers opened the first samovar workshop and how Tula became the main producer of samovars in Russia.
Here you can see a "sbitennik" from the 18th century — the precursor to the samovar used to make honey drink, as well as unique specimens: from a giant holding 70 liters to a tiny samovar for just three drops of water.
