Nuclear Icebreaker Lenin

About

Step aboard the world’s first nuclear-powered icebreaker — now a unique museum permanently docked in the Murmansk port. After nearly 30 years of service, Lenin retired and became an immersive exhibit. Explore how sailors lived and worked on a nuclear vessel: walk through the crew cabins and dining room, the medical office, laboratories, the upper level of the reactor zone, and the captain’s lounge. You can even peek into the navigator’s and radio operator’s cabins.

Port Passage 25, floating dock of the icebreaker “Lenin”
Open: Wed–Sun, 10:00 AM – 06:00 PM; guided tours by appointment
