About
Travel back in time. Shchurovo Settlement is not just a museum but a real film set. The village was built for a historical film about the Russian tsar Ivan the Terrible and the creation of the special oprichnina troops. Here you can see reconstructions of the settlement from the oprichnina period, complete with a watchtower, blacksmith’s forge, and huts, all as they were five centuries ago. Activities include horseback riding, feeding livestock, climbing the fortress, or shooting arrows from a bow. It’s the best place to feel the atmosphere of 16th-century Russia.

Alexander Nevsky Cathedral
The cathedral rises in the very center of Yalta. Complex, multi-domed, and adorned with arches and mosaics, it resembles 17th-century Moscow churches. Its architecture combines Russian austerity with vibrant Byzantine painting.

"Around the World" Ferris Wheel
A year-round attraction with 36 cabins, each themed after a city of the world.
