Take a Dip in the Hot Springs

About

Tyumen is famous for its thermal springs. These waters are the legacy of the ancient West Siberian Sea, which existed here tens of millions of years ago. Over time, it was sealed underground and now emerges as mineral-rich hot springs. Water temperatures remain between +36°C and +48°C year-round. There are more than 20 thermal resorts in and around the city, including sanatoriums, urban wellness centers, and countryside spa hotels. You can enjoy these destinations in any season — winter visits are especially exciting due to the contrast of hot water and cold air. The springs contain salty, sodium-chloride mineral water, which has therapeutic properties and is used both for bathing and drinking.
