The city’s first public park, its history dates back to 1835. It was named in honor of Empress Alexandra Feodorovna, wife of Nicholas I. A tranquil retreat in the very heart of the city—ideal for a quiet stroll with beautiful views. Famed writer Maxim Gorky and legendary singer Fyodor Chaliapin both enjoyed walking here.
