About
The main — and one of the oldest — streets in Krasnodar. There are two popular theories about its name. One says it comes fr om the old Russian word for “beautiful” — the same origin as Moscow’s Red Square. The other attributes it to the street’s red-brick architecture. As you stroll along Krasnaya Street, you’ll pass numerous 19th- and early 20th-century buildings and find yourself surrounded by the city’s key landmarks. This is wh ere you’ll find the heart of Krasnodar.
