Krasnodar State Historical and Archaeological Museum-Reserve

About

This museum-reserve offers a deep dive into the history of the Kuban region and its Black Sea coast. It features three main exhibitions: “Regalia and Relics of the Kuban Cossack Host,” “The Ancient Past of Kuban,” and “Kuban during the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945.” The museum was founded in 1879 and has borne the name of its founder — Yevgeny Felitsyn, secretary of the Kuban Regional Statistical Committee — since 1991.
