"Skazka" Zoo

"Skazka" consists of separate terraces on a mountainside, each offering new encounters: tigers and goats, lions and ornamental chickens, peacocks and miniature pigs. Over 600 animals—fr om familiar to exotic. The monkeys, as always, steal the show: noisy, teasing, posing. There's a "Grandma's Yard"—a fenced area wh ere visitors can interact with ponies, rabbits, and sheep. Animal feed is sold at the entrance. The air smells of juniper and roses, music plays, and the sea is visible in the distance. Nearby are the "Polyana Skazok" (Fairy Tale Meadow) Museum and the Marine Aquarium. If the kids aren't easily tired, you can spend an entire day on this side of Yalta.
