Stone Waterfalls

About

Another power spot located 50 km from Khabarovsk - frozen lava flows from an ancient volcano. This basalt cliff on the Tunguska River is also called the "Devil's Pagoda." The solidified lava hangs from the cliff, twisting into solid streams. There's no road access to the "waterfall," but in summer you can rent a boat in Nikolaevka village on the opposite bank, while in winter you can drive across the ice. The easiest way to visit the stone waterfalls is by booking a mini-tour with Khabarovsk guides.
