Yaroslavl
One of the oldest cities in Russia. Founded on the banks of the great Russian river, Volga, in 1010. The city is named after its founder, Prince Yaroslav the Wise. The historical center of Yaroslavl is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is home to 140 architectural and historical landmarks from various eras: ancient churches, bell towers, monasteries. This is a real open-air museum.
